Balls.
Very good balls. The rest is up to you.
We take the balls seriously. Ourselves, less so. Six OnCore VERO X1s with tour-level, four-piece construction, a cast-urethane cover, and our little flag along for the ride.
Built for low spin off the tee and control around the green. Dressed for the mate who has everything. Except a reliable short game.

The good bit, technically speaking.
Four layers. One less excuse. The VERO X1 packs a core, metal-infused mantle, transition layer and thin cast-urethane cover into one very considered little ball. Perimeter weighting helps support stable flight, with low driver spin for distance and responsive wedge spin around the green. Quite a lot going on for something you keep in a pocket.
Compared with a basic distance ball? Two-piece, ionomer-covered balls generally favour durability and lower spin. The VERO X1’s urethane cover puts more emphasis on feel and greenside spin, alongside its distance credentials. For when the plan is to stop it near the pin. Lovely plan, that.
And the big names? Like the Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x, it belongs in the premium, multi-layer urethane category: distance off the tee, control on the way in. Each model has its own flight, spin and feel, so the best fit comes down to your swing. The little flag is our contribution. The four-piece engineering is OnCore’s.
Who’s it for? OnCore recommends the VERO X1 for intermediate to advanced players, particularly those with driver swing speeds above 100 mph. Proper kit for a committed golfer. Commitment to practising remains entirely optional.

One good shot.
A whole good day.
Maybe you broke 80. Maybe you stopped counting. Either way, you got outside, saw your mates, and hit one that felt like the real thing.
It’s the early start you don’t mind. The mate who’s “found something” in their swing. Looking for one ball and coming back with three. Then, out of nowhere, a shot so good you briefly consider quitting your day job.
Founded in Manly, Sydney, Par Three is for those rounds. For the regular foursome and the spare spot. For anyone booking the next tee time before they’ve left the car park. A few good staples, a healthy respect for the breakfast ball, and something to wear when the round rolls into the rest of your Sunday.
